Contestants must enter by email only. No other entries will be accepted. Email entries to editor@fullproofpublishing.com. Entries should be submitted as a Microsoft Word file attached to the email message. At the top of the first page of the entry, include the contestant’s full name, the contestant’s city and state,and a valid email address. All correspondence will be by email, so a valid email address is essential for entering the contest and receiving notices regarding the contest results.

Stories may only be written by individual authors. A maximum of 6 short stories will be chosen. Entries will be void where prohibited or restricted by law, and subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

There will be a maximum of six prize winning entries chosen, two from each age category. The winning manuscripts as judged by the editor of Fullproof Publishing will receive any resources needed to bring the winning author’s work to worldwide publication. All in-house editorial and publication costs will be borne by Fullproof Publishing. Any royalties on sales of the compilation of winning entries, will be distributed to No Kill Animal Shelters thoughout mainland US. Royalties shall be equivalent to Fullproof Publishing’s standard author contract.

The contest begins September 1st, 2009, and all entries MUST be received no later than the ending date of September 1st, 2010. The editor of Fullproof Publishing will be the sole adjudicator of submissions and his decision will be final, with no objections allowed. The competition results will be announced on the Website www.fullproofpublishing.com or other national media on or before December 10th 2010.

By entering this Contest, each contestant agrees that: [1] he/she will be bound by the Rules and the editor’s decision; [2] the Entry will not be acknowledged or returned; [3] neither the Sponsor, nor any of its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, or representatives are responsible for claims, injuries,

losses, or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss, or misdirection of any prize or participation in this Contest or in any activity related thereto.

By entering this competition, the prize winners irrevocably assigns and transfers to Sponsor and its assigns all rights to their Prize-Winning Entry, including, without limitation, all copyrights. Additionally, the prize winner’s grant to the Sponsor and its assigns the right to publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify such Prize Winning Entry in any way, and to publish in any and all media, without limitation, and without consideration to contestant.
